New Report Utility keeps outside sales reps informed

For companies that utilize both inside and outside sales reps to service the customer, it can be difficult to keep everyone up-to-date with recent quote activity. Of particular importance is the most current quote activity as these opportunities often represents the best chance to generate new sales. To address this need, IMPAC has developed a new add-on utility that helps keep everyone informed with the latest quote activity. Here's how it works

The first component is a sales rep activity report that shows all quote activity (new quotes and revisions) over a period of time (e.g. daily, weekly or monthly). Next, is ProQuote's new auto report utility with access to an email server. The utility runs each day and sends any scheduled reports by email to the desired distribution lists (e.g. sales reps). With this report, the sales rep now has a hot list of recent activity to follow-up.

The best part is, once it's set up, it runs on its own. Each week (or daily) the sales reps receive an email with their quote activity. It requires no manual processing by an internal administrator, it all runs automatically!

Although initially designed to keep outside sales reps informed of quote activity for their customers, the utility also works with any report and distribution list. For example, management reports could be setup to issue monthly status reports, quote activity by region or branch, major account activity or any other desired management reports.
